Our practice owner Gerry Condron became an optometrist because he wanted to protect the health and improve the lives of his patients. He achieved his qualification in 1996, and today has over twenty years of experience in eye care. After working for over 10 years, with Hughes and McHugh Optometrists (Bailleston), Gerry chose to branch out further and open his own premises. His dream was finally realised when Condron Optical first opened its doors to the people of East Kilbride in 2007 at its current location.

The reputation of Condron Optical has continued to grow through high quality service and a genuine personal approach to eye care. Gerry and his team still gain a significant amount of new customers through positive word of mouth. His patients understand and appreciate the honesty and expertise behind the care they receive, and they’re happy to let others know about it.
As well as offering excellent care for their patients, Gerry and his team have also become valued members of the East Kilbride community.
